Department of Trade and Industry Trade Negotiations with India:
Product Lines of interest to exporters to India.
The government Gazette notice No.1152 of 2008 published on 19 September 2008 serves to invite private
sector players to make submissions on their areas of interests regarding the on-going trade
negotiations with India, specifically with regards to their offensive product lines of interest,
and any non-tariff measures imposed by authorities in India, that hampers their ability to export into the Indian market.
Deadline for submission of inputs is 10 October 2008, and these can be sent to the relevant
sectoral representatives at the National Economic Development and Labour Council (NEDLAC) the details
of which can be found in the notice.
