The South African Information Technology Industry Strategy (SAITIS) is a bilateral project between the South African government, represented by the Department of Trade and Industry, and the Canadian Government represented by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).  PricewaterhouseCoopers (Canada) is the executing agency.

The purpose of this project is to further the development of the ICT Sector in South Africa.  The strategy is intended to be complementary to and supportive of broader socio-economic development goals of the government of South Africa, particularly with regard to its emphasis on social upliftment and empowerment.
