The Enterprise Organisation Division
The mandate of the Enterprise Organisation is to stimulate and facilitate the
development of sustainable, competitive enterprises by efficiently providing
effective and accessible supply-side measures such as cash, cost sharing grants
and tax allowances. The main aim of the incentive schemes is to promote investment,
enterprise development, and competitiveness and export opportunities for local and
foreign enterprises.
TEO contributes to the realisation of the dti's strategic objectives by:
- developing incentive schemes to support identified policies and sector strategies
- efficiently administering the dti's incentive programme
- facilitating access to and impact of TEO products and services through focused
business development efforts
The three main focus areas of the division are:
- Product development
- Incentive administration
- Business Development
Product development translates the dti policies and sector strategies
into programmes. In the process it develops new incentives schemes and reviews existing
incentive programmes.
Incentive Administration administrates the dti incentives, and contributes
to increased investment, equity and competitiveness by incentive schemes aligned to
the dti priorities.
Business Development provides focused business development services to ensure
up-take of the dti incentives by targeted enterprises.
